Mississippi State University

College View is a P3 on-campus project at Mississippi State University with a unique off-campus luxury apartment atmosphere. Opened in 2019, College View’s 656 beds are complemented by best-in-class internet service, a clubhouse, stage and open-air plaza surrounded by retail spaces. The clubhouse features separate rooms for cardio, weightlifting, computer banks, meeting rooms and offices. Adjacent to this interactive space is a pool, grilling stations, outdoor big screen TVs for gameday activities and regulation volleyball courts. Nearby is a dog run and, plenty of open walking space for pets and students. The MSU public transportation system services the project providing ready access to the University for those wishing to leave their cars parked on site.

A combination of studio, one, two and four-bedroom full apartments with kitchens and private bathrooms gives a range of price points to upper class students at Mississippi State. The project incorporates the latest in sustainability measures with an on-site trigeneration plant to service much of the electrical, cooling and heating needs of the project. Reduction of the carbon footprint is enhanced by tying the 46,000 sf of retail space to the plant. The outdoor entertainment area called Bulldog Square offers space for social gatherings and the stage provides a venue for bands and University theatre productions. A potential 950-bed Phase II is available for development as University enrollment grows.
